About RDB

Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is a government institution, mandated to accelerate Rwanda’s economic development by enabling private sector growth.
Under the supervision of the Office of the President, RDB is governed by the Board of Directors made up of global entrepreneurs and experts.
RDB was established in 2008 out of a merger of 8 government institutions, primarily to create a One Stop Shop for business and investments. Since then, RDB has been built with global expertise and modelled on international best practice.
Currently, RDB’s key services are: One Stop Center services (business and investment registration, visa facilitation, EIA, tax incentives management, etc.), Investment Promotion, Investment Deals Negotiation, Export & SEZ Development, Tourism and Conservation, and Private Sector Skills Development.
RDB is here to provide support throughout the entire investment journey and to ensure that Rwanda remains one of the most competitive places to do business in Africa and the World.

Evelyn Kamagaju is the non-executive Chairperson of Equity Bank Rwanda, MTN Rwanda and Crystal Telecom Limited. She is also the former Auditor General of Rwanda.>

Dr. Diane Karusisi

Dr. Diane Karusisi is the CEO of Bank of Kigali and the former Head of the Strategy and Policy Unit at the Office of the President.
Faith Keza
Member
Faith Keza is the former CEO of Irembo and serves on the board of the National Bank of Rwanda. She also previously worked in Silicon Valley, California as a Software Engineer at Google, Delphix & Oracle.
Dr. Solange Uwituze

Dr. Solange Uwituze has a rich career with over 16 years in higher agricultural education & research, as well as in governance of multilateral Projects. She is currently serving as the Deputy Director General in charge of Animal Resources Research and Technology Transfer at RAB. Dr Solange holds a PhD and MSc, both in Animal Sciences, from the Kansas State University.

Ivan Kagame is a partner at a Venture Capital fund, and co-founder of a leading energy company. Ivan brings a diverse skill set and vast experience in investment advisory services, entrepreneurship and investment management both in Africa and the USA. He holds a Bsc in Economics from Pace University and an MBA from the Marshall School at the University of Southern California.

Liban Soleman Abdi

Liban Soleman Abdi has a distinguished career spanning over 13 years in financial management, entrepreneurship and government advisory. He previously served as Chief of Cabinet to the President of Gabon, Chairman of the Gabon National Investment Promotion Agency and as a business executive while in Israel. Liban holds a Bsc in Finance and marketing from George Mason University and an Executive Education from HEC Paris.
